Each VIOFO dash cam has a unique serial number (S/N) starting with the model abbreviation. You can find it on the front camera or the original box. The S/N is required for purchasing replacement parts, updating firmware, or warranty claim.

On the front camera
- For most models, the serial number is located on the back of the front camera, covered by the GPS module. You need to remove the GPS module to find it.
- For certain models, the serial number is located on the bracket of the front camera, covered by the removable mount. You need to remove the mount to find it.
