What is the purpose of the GPS Mount & Sticker?

The GPS mount and sticker are used to securely attach the GPS module to a suitable location in the vehicle (such as the windshield or dashboard). This ensures stable GPS signal reception, allowing the dash cam to accurately record speed and time data. We suggest leaving the GPS mount with the adhesive sticker on the windshield for several hours (usually 24-48 hours) before mounting the camera to maximize its stickiness.

How to install the front camera using the static sticker?

The transparent film-like material is a static sticker and can be attached to the front windshield of your vehicle before attaching the camera. By using the static sticker, there will be no residual marks or cleaning troubles if you need to reposition your camera.

How to remove & replace the sticky pads?

To remove the remaining adhesive tape: Use floss or a stiff card to gently scrape the adhesive sticker off, starting at the edge. Spray some WD40 on a cloth or paper towel and wipe off all glue residue, then finish with rubbing alcohol or Windex.
