Can I use third-party charging cables for my Viofo dash cam?

While third-party charging cables may work, we recommend using our original cables to ensure optimal performance and avoid potential issues with power supply, charging, or data transfer.

Can I use the charging cable without the charger adapter?

Only using the USB cable may not provide enough power for your device if the consumption is high. If you've already purchased our product, you can test it to see if it works as expected. If your car doesn't have a cigarette lighter or only has a Type-C port, feel free to contact us to inquire about custom cables or alternative solutions.

My dash cam won't power on while using the original car charger. What could be the issue?

Please make sure to check both the GPS power port and the power port on the dash cam itself to rule out any connection issues.
If neither works, try using a different power source or a wall socket.
Additionally, disconnect other cameras or the SD card connected to the main camera.
