Good Product Overall

I did a lot of research and decided to preorder the A329 2ch. So far I love it, video is super clear etc. My only issue with it ia when you are connecting to it via WiFi to pull a video, it only stays connected for about 10 seconds before my vehicle takes over with CarPlay. If I shut off AutoJoin for my vehicle then I can get it to work but then have to fight with the vehicle after to get it to connect to CarPlay again. (‘25 GMC Sierra) maybe there is an easier way that I’m not seeing but this is a pain. When you do get connected it’s very easy to view videos and download directly to your phone via the app. Overall, super happy with my purchase.

Great dash cam. I did a lot of research before choosing the VIOFO A 329 and it doesnt dissapoint. Install to hide all cables is a bit time consuming but the end result is a great install and good looking product. There are a lot of options, which is nice, but it does take some studying to fully understand all the capabilities.

Vehicle Battery Protection

The dash cam offers two methods to prevent battery drain in parking mode.

Preset Time or Voltage

The camera automatically stops parking recording based on preset recording duration or voltage cutoff.

Hardwire Kit Cuts Off

The hardwire kit will automatically cut off power supply when it detects a low voltage.

Low Power Impact Detection

This parking mode features very low power consumption, preventing battery drain. When the vehicle is turned off, the camera switches to standby. Once detecting an impact, it will wake up in about 2 seconds and start recording for one minute. It captures theft, hit-and-runs, and other incidents to safeguard your car with vital evidence.

Hybrid Parking Recording

A combination of two parking modes: time-lapse 1fps and impact, low bitrate and impact, event detection and impact. The hybrid mode begins with time-lapse 1fps, low bitrate, or event detection, and switches to impact detection based on the cut-off time or voltage.
